Happy rug, small-sized, size 95 x 65 cm

With their cheerful colours and lovely designs, our ‘happy rugs’ are very versatile.

We love them in kids rooms, but they are also great in a bathroom, as a bedside rug, or they can be used to create a nice, fresh and happy ‘corner’ somewhere else in your house.  Wherever they will be, they immediately create a happy and cheerful atmosphere 🙂

All our rugs are one-of-a-kind handmade pieces . The ‘happy rugs’ are modern “Boucherouite” rugs. Those rugs are an early example of upcycling. They are woven from the offcuts of fabric, which the tailors keep for the weavers who have no access to wool. Though the materials are humble, the result is  incredibly rich: an explosion of colour and texture. This recycling of materials  creates and environmentally-sustainable product that will last for years,
beautifying as it ages.
